 THE BASICS:

The Style Flux is a Manila, Philippines based fashion blog owned by Kaye Awatin, where she blogs about her life, travel, fashion inspirations and personal style. The blog started out in the middle of the year 2011 as a compilation of inspirations and outfit photos but it eventually developed into a fashion blogging platform and styling portfolio. Her style can be described as minimalist, modern, and effortless. In the fashion industry, she contributes to different magazine publications and broadsheets, styles for fashion editorial, advertorial, campaign, lookbook, fashion show, personal/event, print/tv media and pre nup/debut.

FAQ:

How long have you been a stylist?
I have been working as a stylist for almost two years now.

What camera model and type of lens do you use in taking your photos for your blog?
For reference sake, I'm currently using Canon 60D, I usually use 50mm lens for my outfit shots and sometimes 11-18mm, 18-55mm and 18-200mm lens for other scene shots.

Who takes your outfit photos?
This, I really have to give the huge credit to my two lovely sisters, Eiya and Jessa, who patiently takes 'em. They take turns on being my personal photographer depends who I'm with on the day I decide to shoot my outfit.

I really like the look of your photos, what kind of editing programs to you use?
I use different kinds of editing programs, it really depends on what kind of treatment I wish apply on my photos. I use Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom and Photoscape. But nowadays, I don't put too much effort in post-processing my photos anymore, I only adjust the basics- brightness and contrast. With a few setting adjustment on my camera and prime lens, the photos look amazing as is.
